ceramic glass is not only a flat glass.
To be perfectly adapted to the modern stoves and fireplaces shapes,
our range of products includes 3 dimensional curved or bent shapes.
Parts of a cylinder, the curved panels are particularly recommended
for the modern wood burning stoves. They allow a larger view of
the burning chamber without being obliged to enlarge the width of
the stove.
Each curved glass shape is determined by its external radius, external
bow length and height. Many standard tooling are already available
at KERAGLASS and a personalised technical study has to be conducted
before any serial production.
On their side, the prismatic bent parts are still really adapted
to some fireplaces fronts. They afford a nice view of the flames
from besides, thanks to their 2 or 3 glazed sides. The standard
external angles of the bending are 45°, 60° or 90°.
Because of their complexity, all these special 3 dimensional parts
are supervised in production by our quality and manufacturing departments
with a particular attention and every new design is developed in
close collaboration with our customers.
